But what of your blogs? If you would like to keep your blogs from neverobey.net, you can export them by going up to the My Blogs tab > Dashboard > Tools > Export and following the directions on the page. You can also get to this page by modifying following link and pasting it in your address bar.

Our site was hacked, and we have had to restore the site to the way it was before the attack. Some of you may have trouble accessing the site. We’re not certain yet how long the hacker had access to the server’s database. But we believe they may be the reason some of you have had difficulty logging in. The hacker deleted random accounts and blogs. This may have been preceded by changing random user passwords. While the hacker could not have determined what your password was, it may have been overwritten with something else.  If you have any difficulty logging in, or have missing blog posts, please send an email directly to us at neverobey.net@gmail.com.

We have now put an increased focus on security to prevent future problems.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

We now have more people then ever looking at the site and its content. Also a big hello to our international readers. One of our future updates is going to be much better translation support for the site.

Last month we launched some much needed updates like new site wide activity   Filter options for all content on the homepage, Status Updates for our members and also the ability of uploading images directly into the forums.

96.80% New Visitors

23.30 Pages per visit

More Stuff:

The current top three countries excluding the US are Germany, Republic of Korea, and Austria.

We made speed improvements, UI enhancements across the entire site.

Our users Jack Beale and Max Martin created some very popular topics in the forums that everyone should be checking out.

Today however we are announcing some new features. First of all the new site wide activity on your homepage. Picture 2

The new site wide activity shows you a much more visual representation of whats going on throughout the site. You also now have the options to “Filter” your results down to what you are interested in.

Next up is Status Updates:

Status Updates can be updated as often or as little as one wishes. It can be found under the activity tab or just on your profile. This can be a handy tool if you wish to share some quick information without having to wright a message or doing a full blog post or posting on someones wire.

And last but not least; uploading images directly into the forums.

Picture 4Just click the add image button when starting a topic or replying to a post and now you have the option of browsing and uploading a picture from your computer and posting it directly in to the forums without needing a third party, or needing to upload them into the site some other way.

I feel that over the past 9 months we have really come together as a community. Since I feel we have all become fairly close I’m just going to come out and talk openly for a second.

If you like the site it would mean a lot to us if you would invite your friends and family to join the site. Spread the word.

This site will always stay free for everyone to join and use. The interface is pretty much locked in place. This last round of updates really brought everything together in a great way. The next area that’s getting worked on is the blogging side of things. We know we can do better then what is in place now.

Our mission is to continue developing neverobey.net and related projects way past the point we are now and the reality of that is it costs money. Currently we’re spending a lot of money and time on bandwidth / R&D on any specialized projects and the possibility exists for the site to become self-sustaining through this process. Which means: more social / media integration and overall cool stuff for you for free moving into the future.

In order for the the site to become self-sustaining we need to increase our user base. In order for advertisers to really get interested in the site we need to have a larger user base. This past few days have shown something incredible about this community. We had our highest traffic day to date. Almost all of our active members logged in and participated in active discussions throughout the site and forums.

Please help us get our site out there. Please tell all your friends and get them to join. If your on myspace send them a message to join or even a bulletin post. If your on Twitter send out some tweets and perhaps some DM’s. Anyway you interact with people please help. We appreciate your understanding of the situation. If you have any questions please drop us a line in the forums.

Today we’re rolling out the long-awaited updates. Finally you can upload your photos not only on your  blog but also your profile. We also are also happy to announce site wide forums. We have taken “groups” offline for additional development and review, let us know if you want them back. Now for the obvious. We now have a great new layout.
