My new Savage 110FP Tactical.
It came with a Leupold scope and mounts I added a Rock Mount bipod. This is a Tactical 24″ Heavy Barreled Bolt Action from what I hear this is Savage’s Law Enforcement model. I hope to shoot it this weekend if the weather is good.

I looked into getting a Saiga in .308 but they could not get the one I wanted with the stock I wanted. After looking around and seeing what everyone has I think I may go with another gun for now. I have wanted a good Bolt gun for awhile as well as several other guns. I looked all over for a Remington 700 in .308 but couldn’t find any in that caliber. Turns out a local shop had a nice Savage .308 with a Heavy Barrel and scope with good mounts. I think I have found my new rifle I am getting a bipod and more then likely a new Savage come Tuesday. The Remington 700 was adopted as a sniper rifle sometime in the 80s but Remingtons had been used during Vietnam the 700s are in use now as the M24 Sniper system. I don’t know much really about the history but I think I have the basic info. I know during Vietnam guns were changing and many guns were used due to the conditions of the battlefield. Because of the environment shotguns were used some soldiers switched weapons because they didn’t like the early M16s and from what I read people started looking more into synthetic stocks because wood swelled over time ruining the accuracy of the guns. I would love to have a Remington but considering what I found I think the Savage will do just as well as a 700 out of the box. I have heard good things about the Savage so I hope to have a good time with it. I have never done any long distance shooting not really anyway always wanted to learn. I happen to know a Sniper but unfortunately I am sure he wont tell me much. Last time we talked and I figured out what he was he got real quiet and then told me he didn’t want to talk about it anymore.
Im looking at getting a new gun and I think my next will be the Saiga .308. There are Saiga shotguns that I liked and was wanting one but then was told they make a few rifles. The Saiga is based on the AK it looks like an AK to a point. I was told they are made at an old Russian factory so the machines I am guessing were used for making AKs. Saiga rifles are a sporting rifle based on the AK but of course they can fit a lot of AK parts and people like the AK look and military feel. I have wanted a semiautomatic sniper style rifle like a Dragunov but can’t afford one and didn’t like a few things. The Saiga are less expensive and so this is what im doing. I plan to get the Saiga spend a little extra on a good scope and stuff and have something like this.

A few of the guys I train with in my Kung Fu class decided to go shoot today so we loaded up and shot for a few hours at the range. We had a blast….. We talked about Wing Chun shot our guns and then a few of us went out for dinner. It was a good day we plan to go out more now. Today I shot an AR15, Taurus Judge, .38 Special, Mauser, Saiga 12 and a Remington 770 not including my M590 A1 and the Beretta. We had about 12 guns I think ranging in caliber from .22, 9mm, .38, .45, .410 ga, 12ga, .223, 8mm and .270.

I ordered some attachment junk for my shotgun so I can mount a sling. It came today I got more then I planned so im not sure I need the other part I ordered but it gives me several mounting options. I have not ordered a sling yet I want something else on the AK I have but don’t know what yet. I need to look and order 2 slings but I still have not got my rifle back. I also bought a new guide rod for my Beretta 92FS. I was thinking for a while now about customizing mine but ended up having to get a new one. Anyway I replaced the plastic synthetic guide rod with a steel one. I am now looking at grips and an extended barrel. I was watching an Anime called Black Lagoon. The main character a woman named Revy uses 2 twin Beretta 92 9mm custom handguns. They have longer barrels and I have found some. They supposedly increase accuracy because of not only being a bit longer but because of how they are made. I can get them threaded for a suppressor but I see no real point since I haven’t got a permit for one.
My current gun is all black the Barrel I am looking at is stainless steal so it will be 2 colors when I am done. I can get a ported barrel as well but on a 9mm it’s just for looks the 9mm doesn’t really need ports. I plan to get just a plain extended barrel and then I am looking at having in engraved. The Beretta 92s have an open barrel frame most of the barrel is visible from the top of the gun. I plan to get something engraved in the open area on the barrel to add to it’s looks. I don’t know what yet or if I can I need to talk to the people who make them and see what they say. I am unsure about grips I haven’t seen many custom options I cared for. I like some but want other things can’t do everything I want concerning the grip.
I can’t get a picture to load but it should look something similar to this I just don’t care about the porting and I am getting a slightly shorter barrel.

Or at least that’s what it should be called…..The M590A1 from Mossberg is one of the current military pump action shotguns being used by our troops. This is my shotgun there are many like it but this one is mine. For the most part I believe the military uses the 18” barrel version mine came with a 20” heavy barrel, rear Picatinny rail, LPA Ghost ring rear sight and an LPA M16 style front sight. Plus a nice new Ontario Knife Co. M9 bayonet good and sharp by the looks of things. The longer barrel gives me 9 shots so I like that being a pump you must load each shell one by one under the receiver in front of the trigger. No magazine pumps are supposedly very reliable guns I was playing around a bit earlier and disassemble it part way to look inside. Meaning I pushed some pins in and they didn’t pop back out so I had to take it a part because im a dumb ass.
I got this gun and my new Beretta 92FS thanks to my dick of a cousin I had to get a new one. Anyway can’t wait to shoot this have very little experience with a shotgun. I am told it can shoot damn near anything it takes 2’” ¾ shells as well as 3”. Im looking into less than lethal ammo I can buy all sorts but I need to look at range to close and you may as well use real buckshot. Most stuff is made for close to medium range for home use other stuff will kill even if it’s not meant to if you are to close. I picked up some cheap buckshot for now AAA Pawn Shop didn’t have much. Here are some picks of the M590A1.
Looking down the barrel.

Interesting ports on the barrel.

Soon to be in my collection.
