Some issues that you encounter with your NeverObey blog or account can be solved by changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser’s cache. Here are some resources to help you in your troubleshooting process.
Note: We recommend that you use Firefox for optimal performance with NeverObey.
Force Refresh
Someone just told you to "force reload" your browser to fix something and you’re wondering what on earth they could possibly mean. Fear not! Depending on your operating system all you need to do to accomplish such a thing is the following key combination:
- Windows: ctrl+F5
- Mac/Apple: Apple+R or command + R
- Linux: F5
Clear Your Cache
Each time you access a file through your web browser, the browser caches (stores) it. This can lead to problems if a web site is updated and your browser is still using old version of a file. Clearing the browser’s cache can clear up a lot of these problems.
Indiana University has some great info for all of the common web browsers in their knowledge base article How do I clear my web browser’s cache?
