Whenever you post anything that shows the computers you use, i have to look at mine and laugh. Here's why

PHOT0001

2.4Ghz Q6600

4GB ddr2

ASUS P5Q Pro

Nvidia gForce 8800gt

running 7 virtual computers for software testing and development

Actually that computer setup isn't that bad. The Q6600 is a great processor. I have a machine around with a similar setup for testing. Like I did with the i7.

lol I must say I love the cable management and the airflow setup your doing. A friend of mine has a similar case and setup. He will not change anything about it, and loves that computer.

I am jealous of the 7 virtual computers, however are you doing it. Remote Desktops into 7 workstations?

truth be told, i love the power my computer has, it's actually the first new, built from scratch, machine that i've built. that is, instead of just buying the parts off of friends cheap when they upgraded. i was mostly commenting on how custom and perfect your machines look, and mine is a jumbled mess with fans held in place with bread-bag ties and cables pouring out everywhere.

the virtual computers are made with vmware server, it's actually free, and it lets you run multiple computer configurations, within software, on a single machine at pretty reasonable speed

i actually have an 8th virtual machine that i run windows 98 on, just for software that won't run on modern operating systems, like classic dos games

and my case was supposed to be a temporary thing while i modded another to put the hardware in, but i STILL haven't gotten around to doing, lol
