Well I have been doing a lot of different things for the last few months. First off I guess I bought the entire series of Gunslinger Girl. I had watched it a year or so ago but I forgot that I seen the whole show it sort of just ends. I like the show but it feels like it’s leading up to something and then just ends it sucks for that one reason but I liked the show anyway. If you have never heard of it it’s about a group that takes in young girls who are sick or other such things and turns them into killing machines for use as assassins. I also picked up the movie The Professional I always liked this movie. An assassin lives next to a girl whos father is into drugs her family is killed and he takes her in. He has no idea what he is doing in one scene shes asleep and he puts a gun to her head but then just walks away. He tells her she must go but she is dead set on learning his cleaning business to get revenge for the death of her innocent little brother.
I picked up GTA 4 but unfortunately my computer has problems playing it and I came to find that it needs a patch but the patch im told caused more issues so I haven’t bothered with it. I have only played the first few missions thus far but I like it. Mostly I have just been playing Call of Duty 4 but it’s been having problems as of late my favorites were deleted and I get to much lag at times. Recently I downloaded Rappelz a free MMORPG. I had Guild Wars at one time but didn’t care for it and this is much like Guild Wars so im not sure what I think just yet. There are 3 races to choose from breaking them down one is more magic like, one is more of a fighter type and the last is more of the assassin. Each has a set of jobs you can choose from as you progress each has there own warrior or magical class. One thing I have enjoyed is that you can capture and tame a monster that will fight alongside you. The down side to this game for me is that I hate clicking on something and then attacking it. I am much more into hack and slash and like to be able to at least use some real skill to defeat an enemy. I like on oblivion how you can sneak up on things and block attacks it takes a bit of skill not just high stats and stuff.
I seen an episode of Heroes and realized that they are already on season 3. I have not been watching much TV only House really and so I have not seen much of Heroes. I got online and found Project Free TV. I have watched all of season 1 and now im on 2 trying to catch up on things. There are a few shows I have an interest in but one is on when I am at work and never seems to be on any other time. I think it’s called Shadow Force or something it’s about mercenaries I caught part of it awhile back and it looked cool. I haven’t been up to much really just working. The telegram is having problems the economy wasn’t the only thing we have had problems with so im not sure how they are going to stay in business and it’s got everyone stressed out right now. From the way it looks things will be slowing way down very soon. I have been getting overtime but that may not last for much longer.
As I said earlier I got my Beretta pistol and I have shot it. I called up the people in charge of the Concealed Carry classes and I am supposed to get an application in the mail so that I can take the class on the 28th. A friend of mine keeps giving me crap about it but I just said screw it and im going to go through with it if I can. If I get it I get it I have mixed feelings about the thing part of me just wants it another says it’s for the best if you own a gun to just have it for legal back up if something happens. If I go out to shoot then having the permit will keep people from harassing you if they see you on your way. Im not a gun nut im a sword guy myself but I do like to shoot occasionally. Anyway the gun show is coming up on the 21 and I am thinking about buying my rifle. Everyone is freaking out about Obama and the idea of another and permanent ban on assault rifles and semi automatics. I am not freaking out but I think it may be a good idea if I do what I have wanted to now rather then wait and be left with no options. A new ban would suck and I don’t feel it’s necessary. I guess I need to read up on things more but I don’t feel the ban before did any good maybe im wrong. I am still a firm believer in the right to own them but I do think maybe they should be a bit stricter on the selling of such firearms. Longer waiting periods and better background checks.
